Our tour of Athens starts at the Acropolis where we are greeted by a “guard dog”.
There are 80 steps to the top of the Acropolis with a view of a Roman stadium half way to the top.
The entrance to the Acropolis is the Temple Nike (Victory, not a temple to shoes).
On top of the Acropolis were several temples, including Erectheion.
The main temple on the Acropolis was the Parthenon.

After the Acropolis we took a short bus ride to the Plaka for some shopping and sightseeing.
I wish i can afford a trip like that.
